Show Me #82

Well, I certainly am glad that last weeks weather is over.  It was SOOOO hot here in Virginia.  Triple digit temps for three days and I was never so glad to see low 90's in my life.  :)  The humidity is much better this week and last evening was actually quite pleasant with a little bit of a breeze.  I certainly hope that you all are having a fabulous week!  I can't believe it's already Thursday.  Where has the week gone?

Well, as promised, we ran the Show Me Thursday for two weeks. . .giving us, meaning me, a little time off.  I hope you all had a fabulous celebration with your friends and family. Perhaps having a cook out. . .a pool party. . . .and followed up by fireworks?  I spent the day with my family and really had a blast.  And I hope you all did as well.

Well, since I ran the challenge for two weeks, there will be two winners for the SMT #81.  Thanks to everyone who played along.

First up is . . . .
Barbara Diane
with this lovely card.  Isn't it fabulous!

and then there was

Frances R.
with her lovely Magnolia image card.  It too is amazing.
If you all didn't have a chance to check out either one of these cards, you seriously need to pop over and take a look.  Both are worth the click.
**Ladies, just drop me an email and I'll get your free image credited to your account.  Thanks for playing along. ***

Since there has been a lot going on here, I don't have a sketch to show you this week. . . instead, I have a couple of photos of my Great Niece and Nephew. . . Maria and Anthony.
Here is Maria with her Great Granddad. . . .my dad, or as he is more affectionately known as 'Graddy'. Don't they make a great pair.

And then there is sweet little Anthony.  Here he was getting a little loving from my sister. . . his ever loving Grandma.  It still feels funny saying that.
She smothers both of them with kisses ALL the time.  She's such a great mom! And a wonderful grandmother and example to them.  Love that sis of mine to death!

So, What do you have going on this week?  Now that the temperatures have cooled a little. . ..are you going to be doing some gardening. . . .perhaps some canning or baking? Maybe you'll just stay inside and craft.  It doesn't matter what it is. . .we just want to see.
You'll have until 5 PM EST, July 18th to enter your blog or photo to be entered in the FREE image giveaway.  Come play along with us.  It's really TONS of fun!
See you soon.

  1. Congratulations Barbara and Frances! Thanks for playing along.
Can't wait to see what everyone has going on this week.

  2. Congrats Barbara and Frances! Have fun shopping. Great family photos, Cheryl. Glad you had a nice time off.

  3. Hello!

How exciting - thank you! Your kind words and gift are so appreciated! I love your images and it will be such fun to place that order today! Congratulations to you Frances! Wishing you a happy day today!

  4. Hot!! I am so jealous - here in Yorkshire the Summer has been a complete wash out, with torrential rain and lots of flooding.
Lovely to see your family pics - isn't it great when you can all get together?
Terrific cards from the winners - well done ladies.

  5. Hello!

The extreme hot weather and no rain continue in this part of WI. Today it is again to be 102 degrees and tomorrow 101. No rain in sights and the corn crop is lost, milk production way down. Send some rain and cooler weather if you can! :<)

  6. We're in winter here at the moment, but we have had the driest start to July in 30 years... hope we get some rain soon, it doesn't rain for most of summer so we really need to get some water into the dams - and to set the crops. It is very pleasant temperature wise though, clear skies and 20C (don't worry, we get our 40C+ which is 110F soon enough!) Don't envy you that humidity! Great family pics, TFS, Donna ☺
