Happy Thanksgiving & Show Me #52

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
That doesn't just go for my friends in the US, but for everyone. We may all celebrate at different times of the year, but I'm sure we all have something to be thankful for today, even if it isn't your official Thanksgiving/Day Holiday.
I'm thankful for many, many things.  Too many to list. . . . .but one that I am especially thankful for are our troops.  Both here and over seas.  I want to say a special thank you to you as well as a special Happy Thanksgiving!  We can never thank you enough!  May God bless you and your families this holiday season.

Now. . .on to the Show Me Fun for this week! Since it's our one year anniversary. . . .can you believe that we've been doing this fun and nosey challenge for an entire year.  It certainly doesn't seem like it.  Or at least to me it doesn't.  I've had a blast.  Haven't you.

Thanks to every one who played along last week.  There were some really great posts and photos!  The TRG chose lucky #7 as the winner, and that lucky person was Tootsie!  Congratulations!  Just drop me an email and I'll get your FREE image credited to your account.

Now. . . .for this week, to celebrate our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY for the Show Me Thursday's fun, the random winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to the Sassy Cheryl's Digis shop.  How does that sound?

Since it's Thanksgiving, I thought that I'd do a little different of a post for today.  Instead of showing you my normal, 'work in progress' image, I'd like to show you just a few of the many things that I'm thankful for.  Since my 'side' of the family celebrated Thanksgiving this past Saturday, I was able to get a few photos of some of my sweet and amazing family.
First up, are 3 of my 4 nieces. The 4th, Alisha, didn't show up until later, and even though I got a pic of the four of them together, the picture of Alisha wasn't a great one and she would kill me if I posted it, so we'll just go with these three lovelies for today.
From left to right:
Ashley, Anna, Michaela
Aren't they beautiful.  Ashley, far left, reminds me so much of me when I was her age.  Smart mouth, rebellious and doing her own thing, no matter what people think.  You go Ashley!

Now these two little cuties are my great niece, Maria and my great nephew, Anthony.  Also adorable.  Maria is a little diva and Anthony . . . .well, he's just Anthony.  He's a hoot!

So, show me what you have going on this week and what you're thankful for. . . . .I'd love to see.  Come play along.  It really isn't hard and I know you'll love being nosey with the rest of us snoops!  Come on. . . .you know you want to.
You'll have until Wednesday, November 30th, 5 PM EST to enter your photo or blog post.  One lucky random winner will receive three FREE images.  That alone is worth playing along. Don't ya think?
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!  Have a great day!  Have fun with your family and friends.  Be safe and don't stuff yourself too much.

  5. Cheryl, those are some good-looking nieces and nephews and if they are as good as Zach, then you have lots to be thankful for. I think I might try to play this week. I usually like to clear the decks frequently and nobody wants to see a photo of my blank desk. This week it is covered with the Christmas card stash - I am almost there - so I will take a photo tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving.
    Hugs!
