Featured Sassy Friend #7. . .Linda Compton

First, I want to thank everyone for the emails and prayers for both my neighbor and my grandmother.  I really appreciate it.  I apologize for being 'out of the loop' the last couple of days, but I'm sure you understand.
It's Monday and you know what that means.  It's time for another Featured Sassy Friend!
This is week #7 in our journey and I have yet another Sassy Friend to share with you.

Please welcome Linda Compton!

Linda has such fun and amazing cards that I knew I just wanted her to have a feature spot.  She has such enthusiasm and 'sass' and it truly shows in her cards!  And her smile!  It's contagious!  Don't you think?
I first met Linda when she started joining in the Sassy Cheryl's challenges earlier this year!  She is very talented, as you will see.  She has so many wonderful creations, but this newer card she created using the Dance Partners image is one of my new favorites.  Just look at that coloring & creativity.  AMAZING!
What an absolutely gorgeous card!  I LOVE it!

And here is the wonderful card that Linda has created for her featured spot today.  Using the Christmas Bell Ringer.  I just love the paper and the coloring is over the top gorgeous.  It reminds me of a vintage card.  She has captured the spirit of the image perfectly.
Now, let's let Linda tell you something about herself and how she got started making cards.

Linda says:
By day, I am a banker and do all the serious financial stuff.  By night, I cut, color and paste.  I have been a banker for 30 years and a paper crafter for 11 years.  Which do I love more?  Well, to keep it in perspective, my banking pays for my scissors, paper and markers, so . . .(what do you think)
There are two people who call me Mom, one who calls me His Precious Mother-in-law, five who call me Nanna and my husband. . .well, he still calls me sensuous. (literal translations:'since you is up')
My creativity comes from my Mom, who has always bee a crafter and my strength, which I could never make it through the day without and that comes from the Lord.

I tell you, when I read the 'sensuous' thing about her hubby, I just about died.  Hilarious!
Please be sure to pop over to Linda's blog, Turtle in the Sand as she has another wonder card to share with you for today's featured spot.  She always puts a smile on my face.  Between the combination of her cards and her fun sassy remarks, you can't help but smile!  And just to let you know, Linda was the inspiration for the image.  She wrote with the suggestion.  I simply drew it!  But, before you go, be sure to leave her some nice comments.  It will make both our days!

Be sure to check back next Monday for another amazingly talented featured Sassy Friend.  It's going to be another great one!!!!!!
And if you'd like to be featured, just drop me an email, I'd love to hear from you.
