Color Me, PLEASE. . . challenge!
Ok, it's really not a challenge because there are NO requirements, but you do get to color and make a card and
WIN a FREE IMAGE.
Now, I know you all love to do that. And who doesn't love winning something!
In addition to the Monday's Featured Designer, I am also starting two new weekly posts.
The first new weekly post, and I hope that you all will certainly join in, will be every Tuesday, to coincide with the new image releases. I love coloring the images, but I have the WORST time picking and choosing the colors.
This is where you come in. As you know, I am continually amazed by the coloring that you all do and have at times wanted to scrap the colored image from my site and start over. On occasion, I have done just that! I have also used some of the DT's images as inspiration too. Here is just one example. I used Sassy Cheryl's DT member Lily O'reilly's Joyful Santa image as inspiration for my colored image. With good reason, don't you think!?
All you need to do, is purchase that digi image, color it and submit your photo here. It will need to be a completed card (hope that this isn't too much to ask) as the winning entry photo will be featured under that digi stamp page as an example for others to be inspired by. I will use the winning entry as the model for coloring the 'colored image' that is made available at Sassy Cheryl's, with credit given to you.
Joyful Santa
So . . .what I would like to do, or rather have you do, is color this new Jumping Jack Santa image for me! Each week, when I release the new images, I will leave one image uncolored for you to color for me. The featured digi stamp will be available for $2 until the following Tuesday, when the challenge is over.
Jumping Jack Santa
So, I hope that you will join in. The winning entry will be chosen by my 16 year old son Zach. He has such good taste. The winner will be announced the following Tuesday along with their photo and a new uncolored digi image.
So come and play along. I can't wait to see what you create for me!
All you have to do is post to your blog or online gallery at PCP, SNR, SCS, Flikr, Photobucket, etc. and then link that post back here using Mr. Linky.
The 2nd new weekly blog entry will be similar to what I have seen on other blogs. I adore looking at your studios/craft rooms/offices. I find it fascinating to see your workspace. Envious at times. All those wonderful papers, copics, paints, etc. I often imagine you in there just working away at whatever project you are creating. So, this blog entry will be to show off your space, your current project, etc., This contest will be every Thursday. I'll show you what I'm working on for next weeks releases, and then you show photo(s) of your current project. And NO, it doesn't have to be a Sassy Cheryl image, even though that would be great. I just want to see what you're working on. All you have to do is post your photo(s) to your blog or online gallery at PCP, SNR, SCS Flickr, Photobucket, etc. and then link that post back here using Mr. Linky.
This is what I was working on yesterday morning. (Just as an example for Thursday's post) This image is called Santa and His Tree.)
The winner for this entry will be chosen by the True Random Generator and will also be for a
FREE IMAGE!
Winner will be announced the following Thursday, when I show you what I am working on for the new Tuesday releases, or perhaps what I am working on that day.
I know that this is A LOT of information in one post, but I wanted to give you the 'heads up' on everything new that will be happening.
Have a great Tuesday and don't forget to also check out the DT's creations this week and enter the challenge this week over on the Sassy Cheryl's challenge blog. It's a great one! And remember, if you follow the challenge rules on the Sassy Cheryl's challenge blog of using ribbon or Tulle, you can enter your image in both. Double your chances of winning.
So, get your $2 Jumping Jack Santa and get creating. Use Mr. Linky below to submit your entry. Your card must be submitted by 9 PM EST, Monday, November 15th to be eligible.
Have a great Tuesday! If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
Ah, yeah...my craft area doesn't look like that by any stretch of the imagination! Both challenges look like fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea Cheryl!!! Wow, your work space is sooooo clean. Now I can picture YOU doing what you do. Lol ~jeni :)
ReplyDeleteNot always this clean, but most of the time it is. I can't work with clutter! Drives me nuts. yes, I am OCD!
ReplyDeleteCheryl, you're much too neat for me. That said, Thursday is the day my workplace will either be it's neatest or it's messiest. Love the coloring challenge. Can't wait to participate.
ReplyDeleteOh Cheryl, you are way to neat. I can see we are going to have to run a serious intervention here!
ReplyDeleteCheryl, your work area is much to clean! I always have mess. Can't wait to get the Santa and participate!
ReplyDeleteYou guys act like 'clean' is a bad thing. :) :) And I don't care if your workspace it messy, I just want to see. Love snooping in other peoples work area. :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you all do with the Jump Jack Santa image.!
I just completed my colored santa, I have shocked myself as I never participate in challenges especially ones that are based around coloring skills. LOL However, that said, your santa made it quite easy, he is sooooo adorable. I almost included the sentiment "So That's Red Bull" but wasn't sure if people would get it.
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Cheryl, I wish my work area was that clean! I love all the space you have there!! That is surely a super cute Santa! I love how jolly he looks!!
ReplyDeleteHugs
