20 Years of Marriage!

Well, it's official as of this past Wednesday.  My husband and I celebrated a milestone of 20 years!!!
For those of you who know me, my husband and I have a very unique relationship.  We are always totally honest with one another and always say what's on our minds.  No marriage is without trials, but because we are the way we are, I feel that that is why we have made it to 20 years.  We only knew each other a month before getting engaged.  And dated a mere 5 months before getting married.  I used to, well, I still do, tell him that he had to grab me while he could because he couldn't find anyone else crazy enough to marry him.  You see, he's a cross between Donald Trump and Dr. Phil, so I think you get the idea!!!  I love him dearly, when I'm not ready to kill him :) :)  and I can truly say without a doubt, regardless of everything, he is my best friend.

I'm not much of a movie goer, but when I saw this trailer I immediately thought of us.

2010 Christmas Releases

I just received photos of some of the 2010 Christmas product releases.  These look fantastic, and although I'm not able to get my hands on them until the final approval has been made, I'm very pleased with them in the rough!

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Happy, and hopefully warm Friday wishes!

Leapfrog

Remember playing leapfrog as a child?  My sister and I used to play for hours.  Of course, I was a little mischievous and pushed down a little harder than I was suppose to when I jumped over her.  She'd usually get me back some how!
This playful image was inspired by just that memory.  Remember?

The Awesome Power of a Wife's Love!

My sister sent this little diddy my way today, and I just wanted to share it.  I think that it is hilarious, and I know that being the type of person that I am, this is how I would totally react!

A very old man lay dying in his bed. In death's doorway, he suddenly
smelled the aroma of his favorite chocolate chip cookie wafting up the stairs.
He gathered his remaining strength and lifted himself from the bed.
Leaning against the wall, he slowly made his way out of the bedroom,
and with even greater effort forced himself down the stairs, gripping the railing with both hands.
With labored breath, he leaned against the door frame, gazing into the
kitchen.. Were it not for death's agony, he would have thought himself
already in heaven.
There, spread out up on newspapers on the kitchen table were literally
hundreds of his favorite chocolate chip cookies.
Was it heaven? Or was it one final act of heroic love from his devoted
wife, seeing to it that he left this world a happy man?
Mustering one great final effort, he threw himself toward the table. The
aged and withered hand, shaking, made its way to a cookie at the edge of
the table, when he was suddenly smacked with a wooden spoon by his wife.
"Stay out of those," she said. "They're for the funeral."
