It Can't Be!
It Can't Be!
Well, even though we have a son, this was his expression yesterday evening, knowing that school started again this morning. He was filled with dread knowing that there was no more sleeping in until Saturday, and that he hadn't finished reading his summer reading book. I try to always remind him, that these are the easiest days of his life, and he'd better enjoy them. Life only gets more complicated and demanding as you get older. I'm waiting for him to finally realize that.
I have always loved Mary Engelbreit, as most of you know, and I love this piece from her book The Art and the Artist. She always seems to capture the thoughts of children and puts them in to such wonderful works of art. This one just happens to be perfect for the anxiety that our son was feeling last evening and will be feeling this morning. Oh well, life goes on!
Oh, and don't forget to get your digital classics. They'll be gone tomorrow!!
